Version x.x - 2.5.u update

• This update will upgrade any previous installed CD-ROM/DVD version of Phoenix to the 2.5.u version.

• You must have a full Phoenix installation as installed from your original Phoenix CD-ROM or DVD in order to successfully install this update. This update will not function if it is not installed over a previous Phoenix install.

• If you already have version 2.0 installed, then you should instead download and install the 2.0 - 2.5.u update.

• If you already have version 2.5 installed, you should use the Automatic Updates system instead from within Phoenix.

Installation

• To install, download the installer-file using the download now button, and save the file to a known folder on your computer (such as your Windows Desktop).

• Once the file has downloaded successfully, run the downloaded file by double-clicking with your mouse. This will start the easy-to-follow installation wizard.

• Now follow the onscreen instructions to install the update to your system. During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the location to install the update. This defaults to the standard "Program Files/PhoenixRC" folder, but if you have installed Phoenix to another location, please enter this here.

• You can safely delete the downloaded file after installation.

You should always make sure that you have the latest version of your graphics and sound-card drivers installed on your computer before running Phoenix after installing an update.
